SickFit Wins Warrior Rising’s Saluting Her Service Award

This past week, SickFit’s journey reached an inspiring milestone as our founder and CEO, Paden Sickles, participated in Warrior Rising’s Saluting Her Service 2024 event in Washington, D.C. The event was a celebration of resilience, innovation, and the extraordinary leadership of Women Veteran CEOs, and we are deeply honored to have been part of it.

“The Sock Lady” Meets Martha Stewart

One of the most surreal moments of the event was hearing Martha Stewart herself refer to Paden as “The Sock Lady.” Having SickFit recognized on such an impactful stage was humbling, exciting, and a true testament to the hard work and dedication poured into our mission.

As Paden shared, “I really hope she’s enjoying her socks because I’d love to have a conversation with her about how we can work together.” A fireside chat featuring Martha Stewart and the inspiring Dawn Halfaker, a combat-wounded veteran and trailblazing entrepreneur, made the evening unforgettable.
