SickFit World Tour Turns Collaboration and Inspiration Into Relief Efforts for Hurricane Helene Victims
At SickFit, our mission goes beyond providing high-quality socks — it’s about creating positive change in the world. The recent devastation caused by Hurricane Helene has given us an opportunity to step up, and we’re doing just that through our SickFit World Tour. This event series is about more than promoting our brand; it's about collaborating with corporate organizations and local communities to make a lasting impact, one sock at a time.
The inaugural stop of the SickFit World Tour took place at the Military Influencer Conference (MIC) in Atlanta, Georgia, where attendees were treated to a unique and powerful artistic experience. The renowned artist Jaleel Wimbush, also known as Oskiade Jaleel, created a stunning mural made entirely of socks — a first-of-its-kind masterpiece. These sock murals are the centerpiece of each World Tour stop, symbolizing the spirit of the community, the organizations involved, and the city that hosts the event. The murals don’t just serve as a backdrop; they represent the intersection of art and action.
“The SickFit World Tour is about creating art that contributes to a larger cause,” says Paden Sickles, Founder and CEO of SickFit. “We want to take this concept global, working with partners to create a ripple effect of art, awareness, and impact — all while showcasing our most valuable product: socks.”
But the SickFit World Tour isn’t just about art. It’s also about giving back. In response to Hurricane Helene, SickFit announced a donation of over 250 pairs of socks to victims of the disaster. We were joined by partners like Jarrad Turner of Veterans Technology Solutions and Daniel Sylvester of Holland & Knight LLP, who each donated 50 pairs of socks. Together, these contributions, valued at over $6,000, highlight the power of collaboration and the ability of businesses to unite for a common cause.
“Paden is such an inspiration with how she gives back to the community,” says Daniel Sylvester. “Donating these socks to those devastated by Hurricane Helene is a small way for me to channel her passion and contribute.”
As the SickFit World Tour continues, we aim to create more partnerships and extend our reach globally, proving that businesses can be a force for good. Through art, awareness, and action, we’re driving positive change — one sock at a time.
